Breaking news: Hearthstone: Descent of Dragons guide. Our Red Dead Redemption 2: Robbery guide explains how to rob coaches, houses, shops, banks and trains. In some of the stagecoach specific missions, not all drivers will stop when called out to and some passengers will flee with details of a hidden stash on board.
Almost every home robbery becomes available from the beginning of Chapter 2. Your main objective is to loot as many valuables as possible and recover a hidden stash. Some camp members will take you on special home robbery missions, so in these cases, simply follow their lead. Other home robberies can arise dynamically when exploring the open world. When approaching a house you can rob, you may encounter a character or hear a heated discussion.
While in others, you may need to dispose of threats or interrogate occupants to find those hidden lockboxes. One tip - make sure you thoroughly search each home! Every shop can be robbed by whipping out your gun and holding the shopkeeper at gunpoint.
Camp members will also take you on special train robberies as you progress through the game as well.

These camps of enemy bandits occasionally pop up in fixed locations and clearing them carries with it the chance to acquire some valuable items or treasure maps.
If you intend to complete challenge awards, you'll inevitably be directed towards these hideouts sooner or later.
Gang hideouts can spawn in 24 different locations. These spawn locations are fixed, but there is no guarantee that the camp will be there when you travel to the spawn point.
Of the 24 locations, a few are simply out in the open with no props in the game world that would otherwise indicate their presence and the fact it's a gang hideout unless the hideout itself has actually spawned in. Thanks to a Reddit user who goes by Rock1Jumpwe have a map showing each Gang Hideout spawn location. The two locations that the author marked as "makeshift camp" are the ones that aren't obvious unless the hideout has actually spawned in. Here you can check out another, updated map, courtesy of CoolHandLukeZ who updated a map originally made by FuryMexican.
When you clear gang hideouts, there is a chance that the gang leader will drop a treasure map that will lead to you valuable loot somewhere in the game world. The drop rate for the maps isn't known as of present, but it is definitely very low - some players report that after clearing 20 hideouts, they've encountered none, while others found just one after 12 cleared hideouts.
At the same time, a few lucky players report drop rates of two out of two cleared hideouts or one out of four hideouts, but these seem like fortunate outliers - especially the former. Treasure chests can only be looted by the player who has the treasure map. The physical chest itself is visible to all players in the session and can be opened if they find it, but there will only be any loot inside if you have the map pointing to it, otherwise, it will be empty.
Due to the sporadic drop rate, relying on treasure maps from hideouts isn't a good strategy for securing income. Instead, check out our money making guide for Red Dead Online. Before you're done you'll have to rob townsfolk, hijack coaches, amass a high bounty, and even rob trains in Red Dead Redemption 2which is definitely going to make you stand out from the rest of your gang.
In line with the other lists of assignments, you need to complete the Red Dead Redemption 2 Bandit Challenges in the order presented, so you can't just jump to the one you like the sound of and any prior progress won't be counted when a challenge unlocks. However, with our Red Dead Redemption 2 Bandit Challenges guide we'll try to help streamline this process, so you can become the baddest outlaw around. To hold up someone, aim your gun and press the rob button, threatening or beating them if need be until they give you their money.
Make sure you wear your mask to prevent being easily identified. Fences are black market merchants in Red Dead Redemption 2, the first of which is found at Emerald Station, east of Valentine, and you can bring any stolen coaches to his stable to earn a quick buck.
Either hijack these from travellers out on the road and return them to him, or rob the lockboxes on the backs of more opulent carriages to complete the challenge. This is essentially the same challenge as Bandit 2, just with at time limit.
Hold up the paths leading in and out of Emerald City for time-effective coach robberies that can then be brought back to the fence quickly and quietly. Clemens Cove is a few clicks north west of Rhodes on the Red Dead Redemption 2 mapand the horse fence there will buy illegally obtained mounts from Arthur for a decent price.
You just need to find and steal five of them, either from riders and carriages on the trail or from any stables in town, to complete this challenge.

Among them are the Challenges, which reward players if they manage to perform a very specific set of actions.
This guide focuses on the Bandit Challenges. Bandit Challenges involve Arthur breaking the law in several different ways, like holding up townsfolk, performing robberies and so on. There's a very good chance that you may end up performing these deeds anyway during the course of the game, but to make them count for challenge completion they need to be performed when the challenge is unlocked.
Completing a later deed while the challenge is still unknown will not count towards completion. To complete this challenge, you need to hold up five townsfolk. To do so, you need to point your weapon at them and keep them in place at your complete mercy. Not all townsfolk will wok, however, as those that are armed will usually fight back. An easy way to complete this challenge is to hold up shopkeeper.
Enter any shop, point your weapon at the shopkeeper and wait for the rob action to become available. Do this 5 times and the challenge will be complete. If you are following this method, make sure to hold up shopkeepers at night, as this will reduce the chance of being seen and reported to the authorities, something that can considerably slow down the process. The reward for completing this challenge is the Bandit Bandolier. Once you have the full set of Bandolier equipment, you will receive a Stamina Bonus.Red Dead Redemption 2 - Sharpshooter Challenge Guide
This Bandit Challenge is pretty self-explanatory, as you simply need to rob two different coaches at any time during the game. If the challenge is unlocked, you will be able to complete it while playing through the Storyas there are more than a few different missions where coaches are robbed.
But if you have already completed these missions, you can simply rob any random coach you encounter. To rob coaches, you need to get the loot found inside the box, which is always placed in the back of the coach. To get to it, you can either choose to jump on it from your horse to steal it from the driver, or kill the driver directly. The box is always locked, and you can either use the Lock Breaker if you have it, or just shoot the lock to open the box.
If wandering aimlessly in search of coaches isn't your thing, you can also get tips from the postmasters in Rhodes and Strawberry after completing the Friends in Very Low Places Story Mission. If you want to make completing this challenge even more profitable, you can loot the box and then bring the coach to any Fence to sell it.
You will also get extra Dead Eye XP. Things start to get very serious for this Bandit Challenge as you will need to rob four different stores in a single day. There are two ways you can complete this mission: rob stores in small towns like Strawberry and Valentine or rob stores in Saint Denis. The main difference is that the small towns have much fewer lawmen, while you will have a hard time escaping justice if you choose to rob the Saint Denis stores.
No matter your preferred method, always try to do this when the sun has set and there are fewer NPCs around, as it will reduce the chance of the law getting alerted by any witness. To rob stores, you need to actually steal everything that is found in the store's cash register.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Sharpshooter Challenges Guide: How to complete every one of them
To do so, you need to enter any store, aim the weapon at the shopkeeper, get close to them and wait for the rob register option to appear on the screen. Always make sure to get as close as possible to the shopkeepers, as they may fight back. Being close allows Arthur to attack them directly without having to fire a weapon, which would alert the law immediately.
In case doing this at night is not an option for you, there is a way to make robbing stores in the morning less dangerous. Just make sure to leave your horse directly in front of the store's entrance, as this will prevent NPCs from entering and give you quick access to your trusty steed in case something has gone wrong during the robbery. You may consider yourself the best shot in the West, but if you want to wear that badge of honour then you'll need to beat the Red Dead Redemption 2 Sharpshooter Challenges to prove your worth with a weapon.
Along the way, you'll also unlock useful gear including fresh outfits, holsters, and other items to assist you on your journey through Red Dead Redemption 2. As with the other sets of assignments in the game, you can only tackle these challenges in the order they're presented and they will get progressively tougher as you move forward, however if you take on board the advice offered here in our Red Dead Redemption 2 Sharpshooter Challenges guide then you should be able to blast your way through them all.
Just find a flock of feathery friends circling in the skies above or sheltering next to rivers, use the auto-lock system or Dead Eye to get your weapon preferably a bow on target, and fire away. This can be completed with any types of species, so whenever two different animals appear on your screen, activate Dead Eye targeting and line up your shots, before unleashing the shrapnel for an easy challenge completion. You know the drill.
Hop onto a moving train, get out your gun, try to avoid the peeved off lawman, and shoot down five birds as soon as you spot them in the sky. You can buy tomahawks from the fence near Emerald Station, but the real challenge is getting a kill by throwing over 80 feet. For best results, try sneaking up on an enemy, aim for the head, and charge up the shot so it can cover the distance.
As I as I can tell, the best way to complete this challenge is to head over to a chicken pen in Valentine or Emerald Ranch, equip two pistols in either hand with dual wield, activate your dead eye, and fire into at least six of the cluckers with wanton abandon. Each chicken will die with one hit, so you only need to paint each feathery fiend with a single Dead Eye target to ensure maximum efficiency for completing the challenge.
The good news is that the challenge tab will show your record sniping distance within the feet threshold, so you can get a good idea of how far away you need to be after the first few attempts. Use your Dead Eye to more comfortably target headshots for this challenge. If the meter is high enough, you may even be able to score all seven within the same Dead Eye usage, though there's no time limit between blowing each brain away.
It should go without saying, but dying will reset the challenge so, uh, try not to die. To disarm an enemy, fire at their hands or arms in which their weapon is equipped, and they'll drop it in agony. Useyour dual wield and Dead Eye abilities for a better chance at acheiving 3 separate disarms without reloading or switching weapons, and the challenge will register as complete.
Hats can be shot off simply by aiming at them and opening fire, and Dead Eye should make this process even easier for Arthur, with the slowed time allowing for more precise hits.
Of course, to knock three hats in the same Dead Eye use, there will need to be three hat-wearing enemies in your field of vision, so time it wisely. This challenge, being the last of the Sharpshooter set, is understandably tricky.Free spins win real money
You can buy long scoped rifles from gunsmiths in any town, but they can be quite unwieldy to use. For your best chance at killing three birds consecutively, equip a short ranged scope and try not to have too much distance between yourself and the flock of targets. Activate Dead Eye once your sights are set, and target stationary birds, such as ducks who often settle on the river bank, to make life easier once you start firing. Looking for more help? The Bandit Challenges are a new edition to Red Dead Redemption 2and in my opinion, aren't really worth doing, but in this guide, I'll try to get you through these as painless as possible. Minus the. As you do these Challenges you will lose honor points. You can also throw back fish you catch small ones caught with Bread and Cheese of course. Also doing good deeds during Random Encounters will also help you get back Honor points. Before some of these Challenges put on your Bandanna from the Items menu.
After you commit the crime, escape the red radius and take off your Bandanna to make the Wanted Level disperse faster. This also works vice-versa if Arthur has received a Wanted Level while not wearing it. If you get close enough and press it Arthur will grapple the victim, however this has a chance of starting a fight some times.
A great place to do this is the dock area of Saint Denis. To get there quick and early go to the Valentine Post Office envelope icon south of the town and buy a Train Ticket there. Follow the large road west and start Robbing lone citizens. Wait for your Wanted status to deplete then repeat the process four more times.
Along the way stop somewhere quiet and either shoot the lock or use the Lock Breaker to open the back compartment. Pick up one of the boxes of bullets or the canned good, then drive the Stage to the Fence to complete this Challenge. Yeah, that's right! The first thing is more relevant, but watch out for Bounty Hunters as you ride.
You will have 48 real-time minutes to complete this Challenge, plenty of time. Put on your Bandana it will help later before you go in. Leave out the back entrance and mount your horse.
Just ride toward Valentine and avoid the law. Repeat the robbery process, escape out the back door, and ride out of town heading south. I suggest doing this mission early in the game since it will open up areas of the map early. Ride hard to the General Store there and leave your horse around the back see second screenshot. Repeat the usual to beat this challenge. This Challenge is a repeat of Challenge 2 except you have 48 minutes to do it.
Do the same strategy as before; go to the Train Station in Emerald Ranch. If there is no Stagecoach parked there, take a Stagecoach to Valentine then steal it, Lock Break the back compartment outside of town, then sell it to the Fence. If a Stagecoach isn't at the Emerald Ranch train station, then repeat the process. Travel to Valentine to spawn a Stagecoach, steal it, ride out of town, and either sell the whole thing to the Fence or Lock Break the compartment.
Take a train to Saint Denis and go to the market where the Trapper and Fence are located. Head left down the street, from the market's West entrance. Make a right at the intersection and go the yellow gate on the right behind Dempsey's Tavern see first screenshot. Go up the stairs, follow the balcony around to the left, then hop the railing onto the nearby roof. Start shooting from the of the roof to get police attention, then take cover behind the two windows in the second screenshot.
So if you want to pull a Bon Jovi go ahead, it would probably be easier than trying to escape anyhow. The best way to do this challenge is by going up-and-down the main road between Rhodes and Valentine looking riders.
